Tillerson holds briefing in Saudi Arabia without US press

Al-Jubeir Says Trump's Visit to Kingdom will Build New Era in Relations between Saudi Arabia Arab and Islamic World

He said that human rights would improve as security and stability in the region did.

"We want foreign companies to look at Saudi Arabia as a platform for exports to other markets", Falih told a conference attended by dozens of USA executives.

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir said "we want to see deeds, not words" from Iran.

"What I would hope, is that Rouhani... use that (new) term to begin a process of dismantling Iran's network of terrorism, dismantling its financing of the terrorist network, dismantling the manning and the logistics and everything that they provide to these destabilising forces that exist in this region", Tillerson said in Riyadh.

Al-Jubeir took the time to go through a litany of actions by Iran which he said demonstrate its failure to abide by global norms.

"If we can change the conversation in the Islamic world from enmity towards the partnership with the USA and if we can change the conversation in the USA and in the West from enmity towards the Islamic world to one of partnership, we would have truly changed our world and we would have truly drowned the voices of extremism and we will have drained the swamp from which extremism and terrorism emanates", said Minister Al-Jubeir.

Jubeir castigated Iran as an untrustworthy terror-backing rogue nation.

"They plant terrorist cells in my country and in countries allied to us", he continued. They supply militias that want to destabilize countries, like Hezbollah and like the Houthis others in Syria'. "They provide comfort and support for al-Qaida with numerous al-Qaida leaders living in Iran for now more than 15 years".

Minister Al-Jubeir argued that Iran must end its meddling in worldwide affairs and its expansionist behavior. "This is the behavior of a state sponsor of terrorism who deservedly is on the list of state sponsors of terrorism and who deservedly is sanctioned by the worldwide community for this behavior".

'Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile, ' he tweeted.
