Tractor Trailer Accident Covers Interstate In Little Rock With Frozen Pizzas

Frozen Pizzas Truck Wreck

A tractor trailer carrying frozen pizzas crashed on Interstate 30 in Little Rock on Wednesday (Aug. 9).

"But there's a lot of frozen pizzas laying out on the interstate right now", Straessle told Arkansas Online.

He says "there were some people shaken up" but that no one was hurt.

Officials shut down the highway in both directions, keeping one carriageway closed for four hours while crews picked up the pizzas.

What a waste, but luckily everyone was OK, except for those who love frozen pizzas.

Tractors were called in to scoop up the pizzas and load them into dump trucks, while others outfitted with vacuums and mechanical brooms cleaned up the cheese, pepperoni, and sauce smearing the pavement.

Agency spokesman Danny Straessle said the bridge had only "cosmetic damage", adding there were no injuries.

Last week holidaymakers faced 90-minute delays on the M5 in Gloucestershire after a lorry overturned spilling diesel and 24 tonnes of FLOUR over the motorway - causing SIX-mile long traffic jams.
