A Georgia Official Is Calling For A Criminal Investigation Into R. Kelly

Police report spurs call for R. Kelly investigation in Atlanta

During the press conference, Eaves added that the state of Georgia 'will not allow our young girls and young women to be preyed upon by predators or anyone who aims to brainwash and strip them of their human dignity and their right to be free'. "He did verify that he has received a file from the Johnson Creek Law Enforcement community requesting that he ...the powers he has as a district attorney, do an investigation into details surrounding R.Kelly".

In his statement, Kelly called it "unlawful" for the government to interfere with citizens legally conducting business, and said public servants "should not target individual citizens for their own politically motivated purposes".

Fox 5 Atlanta later reported that the Fulton County District Attorney stated that no criminal investigation was now taking place.

Well, the police has reportedly called bullshit on this claim.

Kelly "unequivocally denied" the allegations in a statement via his lawyer, who vowed to "work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name".

John Eaves is a mayoral candidate in Atlanta, as well as the chairman of the Fulton County Commission.

A BuzzFeed report detailed claimed that the R&B star was holding women in what multiple people described as a "cult" - something he fiercely denied.

Kelly rents two houses in Duluth, about 30 miles outside of Atlanta, which is under Johns Creek police jurisdiction, according to the initial report by BuzzFeed.

The story claimed Kelly tells what the women will eat, what they eat, and how they engage in sexual interactions with him.

However, the women in question are above the age of consent, with Jocelyn being 21-years-old and the young girl even came out to say she was "fine", and the media reports were ridiculous.

Fulton County commissioners previously voted unanimously to send a letter to Live Nation to shut down an upcoming Kelly concert in Atlanta on August 25, but Live Nation, which runs his tour, has said the concert will proceed.

"Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him", the statement read. "The allegations against Mr. Kelly are false and ill-motived".
