It's back-to-school shopping time for a majority of the country, which means people around the US are streaming into places like Target and Meijer to scoop up their pens, pencils, notebooks, and Trapper Keepers. People were furious about the juxtaposition of the back-to-school sign and firearms.

That tweet, though, wasn't the first time Walmart heard about the signage situation.
In July, Wlamart was roundly denounced on social media and called racist for using the term "n****r brown" to describe a wig cap sold on its online store. It also said it would investigate to locate the store in question and find out what happened.
He acknowledged only that the photo wasn't taken at a store in Evansville, Indiana, as had been originally suggested. "We immediately removed the sign from the display as soon as we found out the store location".
'We have already lost so many innocent lives to guns, ' she told the Post, adding that she drew an immediate connection between firearms and school shootings. "... People don't seem to honestly care".
Update 11:51am CT, Aug. 10: When reached for comment, Walmart directed the Daily Dot to its official statement on the matter.
Walmart spokesman Charles Crowson says the photo is consistent with the interior of its stores but that the company hasn't determined which one, or even if the image is real.
