Liverpool fan Frank tore into manager Jurgen Klopp after his side 1-1 draw at home to Burnley.

Klopp made seven changes from the frustrating mid-week draw with Sevilla, and having received a warm reception from the Anfield crowd as a substitute that night, Philippe Coutinho made his first start since attempting to force through a move to Barcelona.

Robbie Brady won an aerial challenge with Trent Alexander-Arnold, heading into the area where centre-halves Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip were drawn into a challenge on Chris Wood.

"Why we feel so disappointed or frustrated is because we all see what this team would be able to do".

Liverpool have already conceded 13 goals in seven games in all competitions in the 2017-18 season so far to raise questions about Klopp's defence. But Burnley kept Liverpool at bay for the rest of the match to earn a fine away point. The set piece was fed into the Liverpool box and was met by defender Ben Mee who thought he had scored only to have his header cleared off the line. The Clarets followed up that famous win with a disappointing home loss to West Brom, but responded nicely with a draw away to Tottenham and a win over Crystal Palace in their next two matches. We didn't want to change him, it looked a little bit confused when we brought the subs on because I asked him and it was a thumb up.

The contest would end all-square, with Klopp claiming after the game that he was "angry with the result but pleased with the performance".

Liverpool dropped two crucial points against a high-flying Burnley side with the game at Anfield ending at one goal apiece.

The wide midfielder cut in from the right and took a shot from distance but found Simon Mingolet alert in the Liverpool goals.

"Going forward with the ability they've [Liverpool] got I expect their 'keeper to be making more saves than he did today". I am sure the talent he has got he can step into that Liverpool side. "Obviously we have quality and now we have to use this quality consistently, that should be the plan".

Burnley demonstrated their organisation and defensive mettle in both matches last season and this match is coming hot on the heels of Liverpool's Champions League matchup against Sevilla.

We'll be back shortly to take an in-depth look at everything that happened in today's game with the full recap.
