The new map, Distant Shore, was announced on Bungie's official Twitter yesterday where the developer also revealed it would be coming to all Destiny 2 playlists following the Iron Banner event's completion.
Destiny 2 has already seen the release of several Trials events that spice up the Crucible PvP scene, and soon we'll have the game's first Iron Banner event. Not only introducing new loot, Iron Banner also sees the debut of an all new map alongside other goodies. It will run for one week, and unlike the original version, Iron Banner in Destiny 2 works differently. Here you will find Lord Saladin relaxing on The Tower's upper walkway.
The Iron Banner game mode for the week that the event begins will be Control, where you'll have to fight to capture and hold three Control points scattered around the map. And of course, there is armor for each class up for grabs.
We've tried our hand at the Iron Banner, and we can firmly recommend using voice chat if possible.
There is also a daily reset that occurs at the same time daily, resetting the challenges for each activity and replayable adventures at each patrol location.
Complete public events on Nessus. The event starts on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 5 a.m. EDT and ends on Oct. 17, at 5 a.m. EDT as well. Other than that, it's the usual business (plus the Iron Banner). Destiny 2 Nightfalls are hard timer based strikes. The new system is now streamlined, with Iron Banner Engram now serving as rewards for a player's achievements throughout the contest. As we mentioned previously, it'll take you right around 20 Iron Banner Tokens in order to earn a single Iron Banner Engram from Lord Saladin.

But the drama was not over as Syria won a late free kick just outside Australia's area with the seconds counting down. A goal for al Soma would have levelled the aggregate at 2-2, but put Syria through on the away goals rule.
