Arsenal’s creative king Mesut Ozil urged to resist Man Utd transfer and make Bundesliga return

Reports have claimed that the German worldwide has already reached a pre-agreement with the Red Devils to join them on a free move once his contract with the Gunners expires next summer.

The agent of Mesut Ozil has claimed that talks over extending the German playmaker's contract at Arsenal are now progressively positively, despite the seemingly interminable nature of negotiations.

However, while admitting that Besiktas are an attractive proposition for Ozil, his agent Dr Erkut Sogut has dropped his biggest hint yet that the player could be Manchester United bound.

Despite Arsenal having prospered in recent weeks without Ozil, who is recovering from a minor knee injury, Arsene Wenger has voiced his desire to keep the former Real Madrid star at the Emirates Stadium beyond the current season.

"Our contact with Arsenal continues and we are moving in a positive direction", he explained.

Ozil is one of the clubs remaining star players and they will certainly not want to lose him in the summer for nothing.

"Ozil wants to play another two-three years in the Premier League", the footballer's representative told Fanatik.

The Germany worldwide is in final year of his contract, and his advisors may have to go back and accept Arsenal's £250,000-a-week offer.

Ozil's contract expires at the end of the season and the Germany attacking midfielder has been consistently linked with a move away. Would his extension be a good advert in bringing further top players to the club?
