Cops Called On Harvey Weinstein 'Feeling Suicidal And Depressed'

JAY-Z Looking to Purchase Harvey Weinstein's Stake in The Weinstein Company

JAY-Z Might Buy Harvey Weinstein's Shares in the Weinstein Company

It eventually culminated with Harvey telling his daughter that she was "making it worse".

According to TMZ Weinstein was heard yelling at his daughter "You're making it worse" before flagging down a auto and begging for a lift.

Weinstein reportedly tried to flag down a passing vehicle in hopes of fleeing the scene.

Harvey Weinstein left the company last week and reports suggested that he was forced out by other shareholders after the New York Times published a bombshell story about his years of sexually harassing women. Remy was able to calm him down and get him to go back inside, at which point Remy called the police around 10:30AM.

Video obtained by TMZ shows Weinstein outside his 22-year-old daughter Remy's home, stumbling on to a suburban road.

Harvey Weinstein's hard week continues as police were called to the scene after an argument between him and his daughter reportedly spilled out into the street.

Law enforcement sources confirm officers responded to a call from Remy, who said her father was "suicidal and depressed".

The incident, deemed a "family dispute", was later confirmed to Variety by an LAPD spokesperson.

TMZ reported Wednesday Jay has been consulting with his team of investors, including a movie producer and billionaire, to consider buying Weinstein's 23% stake in the company.

The unnamed source indicated that Weinstein was initially attempting to leave the home to prevent the paparazzi from dragging his daughter into the situation.
