Razer Teases “Biggest Unveiling” for November 1, Could be a Phone

Razer Smartphone leak

A smartphone-sized device dedicated to media and gaming is also a plausibility.

Now, Nextbit-owned Razer has revealed it will announce something on 1 November. The latter, in the pocket of his trousers, gave us a device the size and shape of a smartphone with the logo Razer.

Razer could be developing a high-end smartphone catering to gamers. The tweet has the following tagline: "Watch for our biggest unveiling.", followed by a link to a placeholder page that will presumably host the event's livestream next month.

It is clear that the emphasis will be on a bigger display on a device with gaming as its sole focus. Though were placing our bets on a smartphone since the device shown in the picture looks too small to be a tablet.

Head on over to Razer's website for more information on the event. Evidently, the upcoming phone will have the bright coloured Razer Snake logo. This further fuelled rumours that Razer were looking to entering to smartphone market. Nextbit's acquisition will surely help the company to create a unique smartphone. A phone? Well, if previous reports were spot on, we're talking about a phone that is made specifically for "hardcore gamers".

We first heard about Razer making a smartphone back in July, but since then, the rumor mill has quieted down a bit.
