Ohio boy missing from crime scene believed to be in danger

Police searching for missing child, person of interest in Ohio triple murder

The Lawrence County sheriff's office and the state attorney general's office wouldn't immediately confirm Thursday whether Devin Holston was found safe.

Police have issued a endangered missing child advisory for Devin Holston.

Law enforcement agencies throughout OH are searching for a 7-year-old boy that was abducted from a crime scene in Lawrence County.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office are actively searching for Aaron Lawson as a person of interest.

The sheriff says deputies spotted Lawson driving around 12:30 a.m., but he ran into woods after a short pursuit in Ironton. A fourth adult found stabbed at a nearby residence was flown to a hospital. A search was conducted around the initial crime scene, neighbor's houses, friends' and relatives' house and the woods around the area.

Anyone with information about Lawson's whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office at 740-532-3525.

Authorities are searching for an 8-year-old boy and a person of interest in a triple murder.

Victims' names are not being released at this time pending identification and notification of family.

"We are in the very early stages of this investigation and can not compromise the investigation by divulging more information", the sheriff said.

There is reason to believe Devin could be in danger or injured. The Sheriff's Office says releasing further information would compromise the investigation. Aaron was last seen on foot around St Rt 141 and County Road 44 South.

"The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and is assisting the sheriff's office in the search for this child", Lawless said.
