Samsung releases limited edition robotic vacuum cleaner that looks like Darth Vader

The Stormtrooper version replicates the iconic white and black look of his minions.

The Darth Vader version goes on preorder October 10th in the US for about $800, and it comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and its own remote.

Both models are now available for pre-order from Samsung's website for $799 (around £600) and they're expected to ship from the week beginning November 6. For example, when powering on the Darth Vader unit, the vacuum will play and mimic the character's infamous breathing.




Debuting in theaters on December 15, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro. The limited edition bots will go up for pre-sale in the USA from today. A sensor ensures that the robot vacuum will clean around personal items as small as 10 mm. With its unique smart features and powerful performance, the VR7000 was awarded the 2017 CES Innovation Award.

Both versions are now available via pre-order and will begin shipping out on November 5.
