Watch a 10-year-old unlocking his mother's Apple iPhone X using his face
According to them, the Face ID feature in the iPhone X is unreliable. He also unlocked his dad's phone too.
After the mother reregistered her face under different lighting, her son was no longer able to unlock her phone. However, she made a decision to further test things by registering all over again under indoor night-time lighting, similar to the first time.
At the time of unveiling the iPhone X with the absence of Touch ID back in September, Apple claimed that the probability of unlocking the phone using Face ID is one in 1,000,000 as opposed to fingerprint detecting Touch ID at one in 50,000. He had been forbidden to take in hand the smartphone's parents, but he could not resist the temptation and after a few minutes walked the Face ID feature that undertakes the identification of the owner of the gadget in the face.

It's important to note that with Face ID, you can only set up one Face ID profile per iPhone - unless you delete one and add another.
We've reached out to Apple for comment and will update this article with a response. As their distinct facial features may not have fully developed, so they might unlock your phone easily. But it would be troublesome if that 1 person is living in the vicinity of the iPhone X user.
Mr Ngo Tuan Anh, the company's vice president of cybersecurity, said the team created the mask using a combination of "3D printing with make-up and 2D images" to dupe the facial recognition system. The Mask is being sold at $150! A video produced by the security firm Bkav shows Face ID being hacked by a mask. For additional protection, Face ID allows only five unsuccessful match attempts before a passcode is required to obtain access to your iPhone.
