Devil May Cry's first three games are coming to Xbox and PC in the form of the Devil May Cry HD Collection. Because it's an HD Collection, it will obviously see the graphics system be upgraded to high definition.
The first Devil May Cry game launched on the PlayStation 2 in 2001, followed by Devil May Cry 2 on the PlayStation 2 in 2003 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening on the PlayStation 2 in 2005. It's the flawless opportunity to celebrate the origins of the action series while we wait for the rumored announcement of the fifth entry, or even the crossover with Bayonetta that creator Hideki Kamiya wants to make. It will be available digitally on all platforms and physically for consoles for $29.99.
Devil May Cry is the story of Dante, a half human - half demon who takes care of demonic creatures that make their way to Earth.
He then goes on to explain that the HD Collection is geared towards people who never got the chance to play the original trilogy of games, and that it will offer a more modern experience with "silky smooth 60 frames per second" and updated visuals. Check out images in Capcom's Blog.
