Spotify releases '2017 Wrapped' which breaks down your year in music

Spotify's Wrapped feature is now live to break down your 2017 listening habits

Christmas came a little early this year! Spotify is relaunching their annual "Wrapped" feature allowing their users insight on what they have personally streamed over the past year.

Wrapped, which replaced Spotify's personalized Year in Music feature last year, tells you the amount of time you spent streaming music in 2016 and how many songs and artists you listened to.

This year's breakdown includes a list of how many minutes you listened to, how many different songs, how many different artists, and how many genres you listened to.

The site also quizzes you to see if you can work out who really was your top artist of the year, and gives you the option to share your results on social media so your pals know what a wicked taste in music you have.

Plus, Spotify will test you on how well you know yourself, making you guess your top-played artist, song, and genre before revealing you the truth. You read that can stop asking your friends for song advice, Spotify has got you covered!

Spotify also compiles your top 100 songs into a playlist for your nostalgic listening pleasure. Then, it follows up with "The Ones That Got Away" - a playlist of trendy tracks, curated especially for you based off your other music preferences.
