Camila Cabello announces new solo album release date

She also posted a photo of what appeared to be handwritten lyrics: "I just wanna talk about nothin'/with somebody that means something/spell the names of all our dreams and demons/for the times that I don't understand".

The singer revealed the cover and title on her social media channels.

Fans of the "Havana" singer will be able to have the self-titled album come January 12, 2018, and those that pre-order it come this Thursday will receive two new songs immediately. "Now I'm trying to steady my heartbeat", she wrote in the caption.

Camila Cabello felt she had to "prove" to her collaborators that she was a real artist.

Camila Cabello's "Camila" is out early next year.

Even more recently, Cabello listeners have been clamoring for album information as the starlet teased at the Billboard Women in Music event last week that the album pre-order would be up "super soon". Camila has also picked up a string of other awards, including 'Best Pop' at the MTV EMA and Mejor artista LO+40 at the Los 40 Music Awards.

Ahead of the presumed No. 1 album's release, Cabello will bring a selection of tracks to Madison Square Garden in New York, Philips Arena in Atlanta, Amalie Arena in Tampa, and more.
