The Chile worldwide has been widely tipped to join Manchester City, either in the January window or when his contract runs out this summer, but United are reported to have entered the race. #AFC wanted £35m, #MCFC £20m, possible compromise £25-30m.

United first ed Arsenal about the possibility of signing Sanchez back in September.

"At the general level what I can say is myself and the Manchester United board, the owners, we don't believe a lot in the January market, we don't believe in signing a player just to sign a player, just to do something, we don't believe in that".

And a move for Sanchez is being attempted as United look to hijack the Arsenal forward from under Manchester City's nose. All three forwards have the advantage of being available to play in the Champions League.

United target Malcom would prefer a move to Arsenal over Tottenham, according to reports.

Manchester United fans will have fond memories of the little Mexican.

Jose Mourinho has been speaking to the media at his press conference this evening and he's offered a team news and injury update ahead of the game.

United's third target is Hernandez, a man the Red Devils know well after he spent five years at the club before being sold to Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

Moyes was not impressed with the 29-year-old during his tenure at Old Trafford in 2013-14. With only 4 goals in 20 appearances for The Hammers, Hernandez could be on the move in the coming weeks.

Hernandez has four goals in 17 Premier League outings for West Ham this season, and his future looks bleak under manager David Moyes.

If you want Javier Hernandez back at Manchester United in 2018 you need to turn off the old Manchester United Season DVD's & watch him play for West Ham.

While he would probably be keen on a return to United, it would be something of a gamble for the club.
