Neeson spoke out on the matter during a recent interview on the Irish talk show The Late Late Show, where he said, "There's some people, famous people, being suddenly accused of touching some girl's knee or something, and suddenly they're being dropped from their program".
Neeson brought up the case of American radio personality Garrison Keillor, who was sacked from his job with Minnesota Public Radio over allegations of inappropriate behavior.
Liam conceded that the Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey allegations were serious, but when RTE host Tubridy mentioned Dustin Hoffman, the actor said: 'The Dustin Hoffman thing... He said: "There is a movement happening". Neeson then donwplayed the suggestion that Hoffman groped a woman's breast, describing it as "childhood stuff".
Several women have publicly accused Hoffman of sexual misconduct, including two who said he assaulted them while filming 1987 movie Ishtar by inserting his fingers inside them. But it's across every industry. "It's healthy, and it's across every industry".
