Kim Possible live action movie in the works

Call her, beep her, if you want to reach her, because Kim Possible is sticking around with an all-new, live-action movie for the Disney Channel. For those who don't know, the animated series followed high schooler Kim Possible, who doubles as a secret agent of sorts. The show not only offered a very catchy ringtone but a female action hero who could kick ass and live a normal teenage life. Disney hasn't yet announced any casting choices, though it has said that original co-creators Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley will be responsible for the script. Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky will co-direct. It also inspired two animated Disney Channel movies, "Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama" and "Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time". We embark on the fun challenge of making Kim and Ron fully dimensional. While we're already thrilled, this news has us jumping and spinning in circles simultaneously. During the show's run there were more than 80 episodes, and even a couple of animated movies. McCorkle, Schooley and Zanne Devine, who produced or executive-produced over a dozen feature films including "I, Tonya" and "Easy A", are executive producers.
The Kim Possible live-action remake is now in the early stages of development. The voice cast included Christy Carlson Romano, Will Friedle, John DiMaggio, Nicole Sullivan, and Tahj Mowry.
All this to say that I'm obviously a human being with nostalgic tendencies like anybody else, so forgive me a little indulgence in the fact that Kim Possible is coming back to the small screen in a big way. To date, there have been over 100 Disney Channel Original Movies, and the latest slate, including Tangled: Before Ever After and The Descendants 2, have been successful.
Most importantly, hopefully a live-action Rufus (voiced by The Simpsons'Nancy Cartwright) is not terrifyingly creepy.
