Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ to Retain Headphone Jack, Leaked Render Suggests

We already know a lot about the devices thanks to the constant leaks we have seen from the past month. But, we finally have an official image of the upcoming flagship smartphone.

More leaked images of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 have surfaced, showing the first indications that the flagship phone will be retaining the headphone jack, which has been removed in the latest releases from competitors Apple and Google.

Like the DeX Station, the Samsung DeX Pad lets you attach your Galaxy smartphone and connect it to an external monitor or other peripherals such as a keyboard, or a mouse. However, the size of the bezels will be slightly smaller which means it will have a better screen-to-body ratio.

Apart from that, the image has some text written in Chinese. This was also revealed a few weeks.

The year 2018 is going to be very exciting for Samsung lovers. The display rectangle is 6.3-inches, covering the curved edges. Both the devices will have a 2960 x 1440 px resolution. Other expected specifications of the Galaxy S9 series include: Exynos 9810 processor for the worldwide variants, including India market and the Snapdragon 845 processor for the U.S. market.

Rumor has it that the Galaxy S8 successor will have variable aperture setting options, which allows users switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures depending on the lighting environment. Samsung isn't just flirting with color, it seems, but a whole host of textures and more. It was recently revealed that Xiaomi could skip the Mi 7 launch at MWC as well, similar to what Huawei and HTC will do.

Inside, due to differences in screen size, the Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will have 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh battery, respectively.
