NFL NBA megastar Kobe Bryant has reacted hilariously to his hometown Philadelphia Eagles winning their maiden Super Bowl title
After knocking off the Thunder 108-104 in Oklahoma City on Sunday, the Lakers breezed to a lead as large as 27 points in the fourth quarter.
George will be a free agent after this season, so when the Thunder played the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night - a team George's camp has expressed interest in - Lakers fans chanted, 'We want Paul!' The Oklahoma City faithful wanted a chance to chant. He'll need something closer to the 21-point performance he came up with in his first meeting with Memphis. Paul George did all he could as he dropped 29 points and nine rebounds, but Steven Adams was the next-highest scorer with 13 points as the Thunder shot an abysmal 35.6 percent from the floor. "I'm gonna tell them something about that, '" George said.
Magic Johnson may have recently got himself into trouble for talking about players of interest, but that isn't going to stop the Los Angeles Lakers fans from trying to do some recruit for their team themselves.
Unlike the Lakers' chant, George fully acknowledged that he heard the cheers, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
"I wanted to see what I was missing, what opportunities I was missing", George said.
"If there was no game today, then, yeah, most of today would have been spent watching film on him and calling people that I know around the league that may either have played with him or coached him and coming up with game plans", Walton said.
There also was "a little bit more chemistry" among Thunder players, George said, in their second game without Westbrook and Anthony. OKC hadn't practiced on the day in between its games at the Warriors and Lakers last week. On Saturday, Donovan moved Abrines off the ball, starting him at shooting guard in place of Josh Huestis, and keeping the ball in the hands of George and Felton.
As a team, the Thunder shot incredibly well from three-point range after converting on 16-of-37 shots.
Abrines scored 16 points and made 4 of 7 3-pointers. JayMychal Green added 14 points and 12 rebounds while Tyreke Evans finished with 12 points after sitting out the previous five games due to a possible trade. Jerami Grant also finished with 14, while Patrick Patterson started for Anthony and chipped in 14.
