Bride Arrested for DUI on Her Way to Wedding

Amber Young 32 was arrested and charged with DUI on Monday after allegedly driving drunk on the way to her own wedding

Dressed in full flowing white gown, Amber Young was taken into police custody and charged with driving under the influence after a three-car crash in Marana, Arizona.

This story sounds like a kind of thing cut from a movie for being too unrealistic: An Arizona woman was arrested Monday morning for a DUI on the way to her wedding.

Amber Young was given a criminal citation for DUI and after initially refusing to a breath test, she consented to a blood test.

One person suffered minor injuries in the crash, and had to be transported to the hospital.

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police vehicle at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon.

"Don't drive impaired, till death do we part doesn't need any help", Scott tweeted. Young has apparently not spoken so far with any media outlets in the aftermath of the incident - nor evidently has any legal counsel that she might have retained.

'This could've turned out way worse than it did.

Young told officers it was her wedding day.
