Mario Tennis Aces Test Dates Announced

Mario Tennis Aces Online Tournament Demo set for June 1 to 3 in Japan

We're about a month away from Mario Tennis Aces, and hot off the heels of the online tournament announcement yesterday we've got a new, story mode focused trailer.

Mario Tennis Aces is due out for Switch worldwide on June 22.

Starting June 1, you will be able to download the demo and compete in some online gameplay against others. Another short clip highlighted the game's single-player Adventure Mode. "With full blown tennis battles on hazardous courts, varied missions that challenge your skills, and monstrous bosses standing in your way". Wario and Waluigi look as though they are being possessed by some sort of ghostly creature in the trailer. In Adventure Mode, Mario attempts to rescue Luigi from Wario, Waluigi and the Legendary Racket. The online demo will conclude on Sunday, June 3rd at 11:59 p.m. Those who participate in the pre-launch tournament will also gain access to Mario's Classic Outfit upon purchasing the full game.

The times listed in the trailer above are presumably for Japan which means that if you live in the U.S. or other parts of the world, you'll have to adjust your time accordingly., but basically it looks like it will run from 6PM June 1st until 11:59PM June 3rd. Nintendo also states that "all participants" will be able to unlock a free additional costume-Mario's traditional dungarees-for use in the full game, though it's not now known whether you must achieve some feat to unlock this or if it's awarded to you just by taking part.
