'Mile 22' Trailer: Mark Wahlberg Is a CIA Operative in Peter Berg's New Thriller
Mark Wahlberg is the one to call when you need to "get s*** done". Mile 22's first trailer is here, and there are no Eminem battle raps here (though there is a Jay-Z song on the trailer) - just 22 miles of risky terrain across which Wahlberg's operative and his team have to escort Uwais. The trailer sees the behind the scenes happenings and planning for a life-threatening mission carried out by an elite team of Central Intelligence Agency agents. And as evidenced by the first trailer, Wahlberg is taking no prisoners.
Mark Wahlberg has finished working on Daddy's Home 2 and is back to his obligatory action-packed roles for the upcoming film Mile 22. He saves the world again (although, to be fair, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson does so as often these days), and the trailer also prominently features John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan (Fear The Walking Dead), and Iko Uwais (The Raid).
The film stars Mark Wahlberg as an operative from the CIAs most talented tactical unit. "We're ghosts ... but we're very real", Silva says. His character, James Silva, assigned with a retrieval and transport mission of an asset through 22 miles of treacherous territory.
