Queen are streaming the first video trailer for their biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody".

The trailer also showcases a medley of their most popular music and in particular, how Bohemian Rhapsody came about. The trailer already has over three million views on YouTube and fans of the band Queen are loving actor Rami Malek's portrayal of the legendary British musician.

The short trailer - barely a minute and a half long - opens with Malek (a very believable Mercury) engaging with his audience dishing out his typical showman charm. In the subsequent years, the cast and crew of Bohemian Rhapsody saw many major and minor controversies including the firing of the previous director Bryan Singer, and Sacha Baron Cohen leaving the project and quitting his role as Freddie Mercury midway. According to the official synopsis, " "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. According to the official synopsis, the film explores the ups and downs of the band, including when Mercury chose to pursue a solo career and when he reunited with the band for Live Aid, despite his failing health.

The band, fronted by iconic vocalist Freddie Mercury, rose to fame in the 80s before Mercury's death in 1991 from a complication of AIDS.

Director Bryan Singer was sacked from the film late a year ago over his "unexpected availability", two weeks before principal photography was completed. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.
