Nintendo E3 2018 Schedule Released: Super Smash Bros. Gets Spotlight

Nintendo Switch's GO VACATION Brings a Family Vacation to You Anywhere

Given the profile and popularity of the franchise, many were understandably bummed about the idea of having to stand in line for a long time when they could otherwise be enjoying the show.

We also get confirmation that other games will be at Nintendo's booth and will not require reservations.

Nintendo is likely pushing out this announcement ahead of its big E3 2018 Nintendo Direct, which is set to focus on Super Smash Bros Switch along with (hopefully) containing a few surprises. Nintendo announced on Wednesday fans will need to reserve play slots to play Super Smash Bros. for Switch before June's show. The signups are mandatory if you want to participate during E3 while the demo is available on the show floor, and you can opt for a ticket for "fun" to play against others casually or for "glory" in a competitive elimination match.

Once you have bought a ticket for E3, ESA will send you an email. There won't be any sort of on-site registration for you to grab a ticket then, so you'll have to do everything ahead of time if you want to be able to participate.

For more details about ticketing, visit https://e3.nintendo.com/attendee-faq for continuing updates.

A resort vacation is always at your fingertips with the new GO VACATION game for the Nintendo Switch system.

Nintendo will also give out exclusive Nintendo Switch pins to random fans who bring their console with them to the show. Nintendo's video presentation will stream on Tuesday, June 12 at 12 p.m. EDT before the convention center opens, so fans will have a clearer idea of what will be playable in Nintendo's booth.

The E3 2018 is just around the corner.
