Their mother shared her agony in a live video from her hospital bed where she's recovering from a gunshot wound.

"I didn't know what else to do", she begins, "but just to reach out to everybody. So now I don't have my babies", Simpson said. The 29-year-old says after she's released from the hospital she will be moving to Virginia to be with her family. "I see my babies".

Authorities say a man walked into a rural North Texas home and shot his ex-wife's three children and her boyfriend dead before killing himself. Simpson said the day before, Painter had called her wanting to reconcile the relationship, and "he didn't like it" when she told him no. She also broke a couple of ribs and a bone in her neck, she said.

Simpson explained: 'I made it very clear to the judge that he was mentally unstable.

She added: 'You guys know that they were my everything, my objective to breathe.

She then worries about how she will be able to afford her children's funerals.

"Everyone is going to have to come together to help support her", Smith said. "I'm at a loss". I can confirm that we are not looking for the suspect at this time.

Now Simpson is dealing with a potential surgery and burying her kids and boyfriend. "Justin couldn't accept that". Painter, her ex-huband, was 39 and lived in Fort Worth. The children were identified as 4-year-old Drake Painter, 6-year-old Caydence Painter and 8-year-old Odin Painter.

While Simpson's physical wounds will heal, she will be forever haunted by the deaths of her children.

She later asked for prayers. "I always watch the news". "I'm the one who was there and I'll answer your questions". "Regretful, regretful really sad pray for them, pray for the family, pray for the neighborhood".

"I love that town", she says.
