Ahead of Abe's visit to the White House, Trump posted 12 tweets during the a.m. hours on Thursday - more than half of them either attacking Mueller's investigation, James Comey, Democrats who no longer hold elected office, or Sen.

"I think that could happen", Trump said during a Rose Garden press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. North Korea responded with a conciliatory statement, and the USA resumed plans for the meeting, which is scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.
