Michael McIntyre and 10-year-old son attacked by hammer-wielding moped gang during school run

Michael Mc Intyre was mugged by two masked moped robbers yesterday as he drove with his boy in Golders Green North West London

The famous comedian was robbed with a hammer by two men on mopeds while he was sitting outside his sons' school in Golders Green, London.

The driver's window of the stand-up comic's £120,000 Range Rover was smashed with a hammer during the raid, before the gang demanded McIntyre hand over his watch, which is reported to be worth £15,000.

McIntyre is one of Britain's most well-known comedians and is now embarking on his Big World Tour. "Michael was involved in an incident involving armed robbers", his representative explained.

The police, who wouldn't touch upon the id of these concerned, advised Sky Information: "The sufferer was stationary in his automobile when two males on a moped smashed the automobile home windows with a hammer earlier than stealing property".

Witnesses told The Sun, the thieves had to hit the vehicle window multiple times before it smashed, and that McIntyre initially put up a fight. He is best known for hosting Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, and Michael McIntyre's Big Show on BBC One, and as a judge on Britain's Got Talent. "He is absolutely fine and helping police with their inquiries".

"I simply bear in mind one of many bikers attempting to get one thing".

The newspaper also posted a video of Mcintyre looking shell-shocked by his £120,000 Range Rover after the attack. I do not know what the man was attempting to get - a watch, a pockets, possibly?

Reportedly, police are now investigating whether or not the attackers followed the BAFTA-award winning comedian from his £5.7 million mansion in Hampstead Heath, not far from his son's school.

'No injuries were reported.

"No arrests have been made".
