Leaked images of Google Pixel 3 XL surface online

Google Pixel 3 XL images reportedly leak out, show off a notch

As a result there's a notch, though leaked screen protectors (of all things) suggest that the regular sized Pixel 3 will not notch the display, and will instead have a bar running along the top much like the Samsung Galaxy S9. Now, to end the day off right, the same XDA forum user has shared even more leaked images of the alleged Pixel 3 XL - this time from every angle. The Pixel and Pixel 2 lineups. show Google's software strengths and have put other manufacturers on the backfoot on several fronts. A notched design for Pixel 3 XL does not come as a surprise given Android P, which is the latest operating system includes support for notch.

The Pixel 3 XL apparently has a glass back.

Now Google Pixel 3 XL prototype images have been leaked by XDA Developers, which showcase some key design features of the upcoming phone. Google is expected to skip the dual rear camera bandwagon yet again this year. Furthermore, the volume rockers and the power button are housed at the same spot as was on the previous generation. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned.

Of course, this is all just rumors for now, but the images look convincing, so most of the big changes might be reserved for the inside of the Pixel 3 XL.

This looks pretty legit, and if this is in the wild you can believe there's going to be some more shots of both the Pixel 3 XL, and hopefully the smaller Pixel 3 showing up soon. The codename "crosshatch" that we outed in 2017 has also been confirmed with this device. This could be the official prototype logo that the tech giant may be using, until the final product is ready. While this looks like a legitimate prototype, it in no way means that the Pixel 3 XL will look the same commercially. The device also features a dual front camera setup, which a feature also directly relevant to today's leak. We'll probably find out for sure in October, as that's when it's likely to land, alongside the standard Pixel 3.
