Wreckage of missing Kenyan plane with 10 on board found

A surveillance helicopter spotted the plane belonging to the FlySAX airline near the town of Njabini on the edge of the Aberdares mountain range. Last signals were picked around Njambini area.
By Tuesday evening, the search mission had yielded no fruit, with the team being forced to halt the exercise for the night and resume on Wednesday morning. Phone signals from the plane have been located in the Aberdares in Nyandarua County.
It lost contact with the control tower at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a few minutes before landing.
Brenda Wanga reports from Kinangop with the latest on the search for a FlySax-operated Cesna C208 craft, registration number 5Y-CAC, that took off from Kitale airstrip in Trans-Nzoia County to JKIA and went missing. This, according to officials, forced the pilots to take the Kinangop route, which is considered risky because of the weather.
The airline said the plane was missing and that efforts by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and Air Accident Investigation Division of Kenya to locate it were ongoing.
It said the aircraft had not been sighted and the search will continue.
