FUTURE Google founder Larry Page-backed firm has designed a flying car
Around 1,500 test flights have been conducted so far, and the company is also testing its pilotless flying taxi, nicknamed Cora, in New Zealand.

The start-up teased the Flyer in a demo video a year ago, and is now nearing public roll out.
Kitty Hawk, funded by Page, unveiled a "Flyer" model that it has described as "an exciting first step to sharing the freedom of flight".
The Flyer is one of two major initiatives at Kitty Hawk.
People interested in buying Flyers were invited on the website to apply for an invitation to do so, with no price specified. This enables it to complete a vertical take-off and landing like a helicopter.
Because it's powered by motors rather than internal combustion engines, Kitty Hawk says the Flyer will be significantly quieter than other ultralight aircraft, promising that it's only as loud as a lawnmower from 50 feet away.
"Riders" will initially be limited to an altitude of just 3-10 feet above the water at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour, with an expected flight duration of 12-20 minutes.
"Our immediate priority is to invite small groups of people - customers, influencers, media and community members - to experience the freedom of flight here in our newly opened training facility".
The uncovered cockpit appears to be big enough for one person.
"Flyer is Kitty Hawk's first personal flying vehicle, and the first step to make flying a part of everyday life".
According to CNN, Kitty Hawk tried out various methods for controlling the craft, including a steering wheel, video game controllers, and boat throttles but found that a joystick was the most comfortable to use. The Flyer, which was designed as a recreational vehicle, has a flight time of 12 to 20 minutes on a full charge.
