EA Play Battlefield 5 news will be released very soon

At the conference, EA indicated that Battlefield V will be the "deepest" and "most immersive" game in the franchise. Sadly, no details regarding this mode were revealed today, other than the developer saying that it will be true to the Battlefield formula.

"It will be unlike anything you've played before, and we'll have more to talk about later this year", the developers teased.

"I would be lying [if I said] there weren't people in the studio that would play [battle royale games] a lot", Gustavsson said with a laugh. As everyone probably predicted, yes, it will be getting a battle royale mode as well. Additionally, Battlefield's trademark destruction, as well as the variety of weapons and vehicles, makes a Battlefield Royale experience sound very intriguing. But seriously, six minutes for a battle royale announcement.

Also during our interview, we quizzed Gustavvson about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 adding its own battle royale mode called Blackout.

EA is promising that every battle in Battlefield V will be unique, in part because of the new choices available to players.

The latest installment of the franchise will drop on October 19 for PC, XBox One, and PlayStation 4. Players complained that this wasn't historically accurate (even though many women did fight on the front lines of the war for certain countries) and that it broke the "immersion" that DICE promised for Battlefield V. Most of these arguments are flimsy covers for men who hate women.
