Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella teases a dark Star Wars game for holiday 2019. EA Games

It will take place during the "dark times" of "Star Wars" lore, when the Jedi are being hunted, he said. And tomorrow, at EA Play, we will hear a little bit about one of them, according to Respawn CEO Vince Zampella. The concept does sound pretty good though. Fallen Jedi Order is the next game to be published by Electronic Arts under the exclusive deal with Disney to create licensed console games under the Star Wars brand following the original Battlefront and its very controversial sequel from previous year. There's plenty of uncharted territory, and focusing on a Jedi trying to survive on the run is quite the intriguing prospect.

It is doubtful we will see anything else of Jedi: Fallen Order at E3 this year.

Not much is known about the game except the Jedi Purge aspect, but isn't that all we need? Although, with a name like Jedi, there is also the possibility that we could be seeing something in which we're wielding a lightsaber and using Force powers.

Stay tuned for more details as the game's development continues.

As many fans predicted, Respawn's mysterious Star Wars game did make a minor appearance at the Electronic Arts press conference. This new Star Wars game was announced at last year's E3, but don't expect any further reveals on it until next year.
