The biggest storyline surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers - and the entire National Basketball Association, for the matter - this offseason is the future of LeBron James and where he will sign in free agency.
After what may have been his final game with the Cavaliers, James revealed he hurt himself in a fit of frustration when punching a whiteboard following a game one overtime loss.
"To be able to play with talented players, cerebral players that can see things to happen before they happen on the floor", James said."When you feel like you're really good at your craft, it's always good to be around other great minds as well".
His next stop is unknown.
It is why the LeBron James timetable for some teams may not include either the July 1 start of free-agency negotiations or the July 6 start of the signing period.
LeBron James could become a free agent in the summer. "But after a game like that, I'm not in any position to talk about that".
You have to be over the luxury tax three out of the prior four years to incur the repeater, and Golden State has only been in the tax for the 2017-18 season. LeBron and Paul George could team up to create a new version of the showtime Lakers days.
Golden State is in a specific quandary given many of their stars are either due for free agency or for an extension. He was going to play in the series anyway, and he didn't want to let on that he was hurt if he could avoid it.
This certainly isn't the first time Kevin Love's name has been mentioned to trade rumors, as Cleveland reportedly looked to trade him in each of the last two offseasons.
Love is a controllable asset by the Cavs until 2020, when the five-year deal he signed with Cleveland in 2015 is set to expire.
And there's also the delicate matter of James' rocky relationship with team owner Dan Gilbert. The Knicks are in the same kind of attractive situation that Cavs were in when James returned. Whatever the case may be, the Warriors are set up to contend for a title for years to come.
The last time James left Cleveland it was because he needed a team to help him achieve greatness.
That brings us to the question of why we bother watching the National Basketball Association anymore if we know who is going to be the best team in conference each year, and it is for the hope and pride for our city. "It ultimately will come down to me".
Trump told Macron EU worse than China on trade
The EU trade surplus with the U.S.is $151 Billion, and Canada keeps our farmers and others out. "And that ends", Trump said. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Sunday on ABC's "This Week", "I'm not so sure John's right about where America is on trade".
King of Clay: Rafael Nadal wins record 11th French Open title
The score may have looked rather routine but there was some drama in the third set when Nadal called for the trainer at 2-1, 30-0. Nadal wept after being handed the trophy by Australian legend Ken Rosewall - who won the inaugural French Open in 1968.
