Square Enix’s E3 Presentation Leaves Audiences Asking: Is This It?
12 June 2018, 03:28 | Cameron Gross
Watch the Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018 Live Stream!
Despite the Luminary being on the receiving end of a monologue about how harsh their life has been so far - and then taking part in a battle against the undead - it's all quite strangely celebratory. Details are scarce, but it is due out in 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
There was very little information on it, other than the implication that it has a pretty complex backstory and what seems to be a tone more similar to Dark Souls than Bayonetta. It also comes with the Edition of Light's DLC, one Pep Pop that peps up all active allies and 15 more Seeds of Skill.
While Square Enix's showcase was ultimately disappointing, it's all their own doing.
The hyped presentation did have plenty to share on a new Tomb Raider title, to which they devoted about seven minutes of their half-hour presser. As announced yesterday this game will be releasing for free on June 26th. Additionally we saw the Kingdom Hearts III trailer we saw at the Microsoft event yesterday, along with a deeper look into Captain Spirit, which looks cute, but I find it hard to get super excited about. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link. Just Cause 4 is due to launch on December 4th.
That trailer also featured more footage of the confirmed worlds and even some new hints at the major plot of the game.
What was disappointing though was that there was no mention at all of Square Enix's Avengers game, which a year ago they'd implied would be revealed at E3.

The White House said the daylong summit would also include a working lunch and a larger meeting involving aides to both leaders. Traffic was held up in the steamy midday sun and scores of bystanders were penned in by police when Trump went to meet Lee.
Battletoads Coming to Xbox in 2019
State of Decay developers Undead Labs are also joining Microsoft , as are Compulsion games who are working on We Happy Few . To the surprise of no one, FH4 looks stunning and it's even better in the gameplay footage coming from IGN .
What the end of ‘net neutrality’ means for your internet use
ISPs would only be punished by the FCC if they fail to disclose what the commission used to consider net neutrality violations. With Net Neutrality coming to an end, there are fewer rules governing how internet service providers can operate.
Lewis Hamilton doubted he would finish Canadian Grand Prix
The pair fought over the position race long, but with even pace, Hamilton had no way past the Australian and settled for fifth. Vettel certainly wasn't convinced that Red Bull had made the right call starting tomorrow's race on the hypers.
Monmouth Park: Not taking sports bets Thursday
Phil Murphy signs the bill permitting it. "In New York, we would go right to the corner store, to the bodega, and bet", Keys said. Under the change, the Golden Nugget could still take bets on sports including football, baseball and hockey, but not basketball.
