Isolated severe storms will be possible this afternoon in parts of north and north-central Alabama. Those storms could bring heavy rain and gusty winds. Storms will be possible across the rest of the state as well today. (Storm Predi

Otherwise, hot and humid with highs in the mid-90s and the Heat Index over 100°. A few of the storms that form south and east of Cleveland could pack a punch with gusty winds, small hail, lightning and lots of rain. In fact model differences bring low confidence on best timing for rain in an area. It won't be an all-day event with highs in the upper-70s to lower-80s, though cooler lakeside. It was a warm weekend across the area, with a few strong storms impacting portions of the region. Tuesday we'll have a break in the humidity with highs topping out at a comfortable 88 degrees in the afternoon.

More severe weather is possible Tuesday across parts of KAKEland, with storms firing as early as late afternoon. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s, and there will be a chance for afternoon showers and storms each day.
