Couple meets in plane, shares love story on Twitter

A plane passenger played accidental matchmaker after trading seats with someone on a recent flight

Upon realizing the chemistry between the woman and a man seated next to her, Blair posted about it on her social media throughout the ride -- and the story quickly became an internet sensation.

It's not often that the man you've secretly been recording during your flight turns out to be a former professional soccer player.

Blair wanted to change seats on the flight to sit next to her boyfriend and joked that the couple now sitting in front of them would fall in love.

The plane romance story has exploded on the internet and throughout the media including NBC's Today Show.

"My boyfriend sat down first next to an attractive young woman and before he could get the full question out, she offered to switch seats with me provided her new seat partner "wasn't a weirdo". Both of them appeared to be single, according to Blair, who wrote that there were "no wedding rings in sight".

"It felt like, honestly, being in a movie, and we were the two best friends", Blair told "Good Morning America" of her and her boyfriend's role.

A man sat down next to the woman, and they immediately hit it off.

.

Blair commented the pair were both personal trainers, were showing each other pictures of family, and even went to the bathroom at the same time at one point.

Blair watched as the two followed each other on Instagram, which is where she eventually found both of them after making it home.

After the flight, Blair photographed the two passengers walking with their luggage through Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport together.

Blair said she even bought Wi-Fi in order to keep people informed of the blossoming romance.

Love was in the air on an Alaska Airlines flight from New York City to Dallas Monday.
