"Normally we are thinking about the young players, the possibility to stay with us or go on loan to another team. Only if he is a big opportunity".

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has spoken on Aaron Ramsey's contract renewal and demands he needs the midfielder to stay at the club as he's a player he would like to build the team around.

Arsenal begin their pre-season on 14th July while their presence in the International Champions Cup ensures that they will face several high-profile opponents before the big kick-off against Manchester City.

"We signed the players who we needed and only if one player is a big opportunity for us will we sign them".

"At the moment, I think the squad is complete", Emery told a prematch news conference ahead of a preseason friendly at Boreham Wood.

It seems it's true that Unai Emery values Aaron Ramsey in his team as it was earlier rumoured and he also was asked on why the Welsh worldwide hasn't signed a new deal, he answered.

The Sevilla midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates and has reportedly handed in a transfer request in Spain.

"Koscielny is the first captain now, then we are looking for the player who the personality is the best in the dressing room to keep respect of players".

"I know him [N'Zonzi] but we didn't do movement for him", he said.

"The first two weeks for us is to start knowing the club, knowing the players, knowing all the people who are working with us".

The 27-year-old has just under a year remaining on his current deal and will be able to leave on a free transfer next summer if he fails to agree a new deal. "Now, I want to look, I want to work every day with all the goalkeepers and then I am going to decide for [who is No 1]".

"I want to work with Petr Cech, Bernd Leno, Emilio Martinez, Matt Macey, David Ospina", said Emery.

"I am convinced that Arsenal are now the ideal team for him to continue his growth path".

"I have said to Ivan [Gazidis], Raul [Sanllehi] and Sven [Mislintat] that I think he is an important player for me".
