Carragher: New Arsenal boss Emery compared to Rafa Benitez

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is targeting one more defender ahead of deadline day
Referring to his summer signings - goalkeeper Bernd Leno, defenders Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos and midfielders Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi - Emery insists balance is the aim.
With Arsenal to host reigning Premier League champions Manchester City in the season opener on Sunday, Emery could be in for a baptism of fire. Something in my guts tells me that Arsenal will just nick this one.
Given Vida's impressive World Cup outing, it would be a smart investment from Emery to acquire the Croatian's services and the centre-back's experience and know-how could prove to be pivotal during Koscielny's absence.
"Most people recognised that our defence was poor last season", Burgess confessed.
"We need two things: quality players, which we have, and then organisation".
"It remains to be seen how successful that is but that's an area he's focused on. His sessions are very intricate in that regard". This comes as good news to gunners because he is an experienced midfielder and his services will be needed on Sunday. For a good part, Welbeck has played on either side of attack but through the middle, Emery now prefers other players there. The preseason has also been a success for Arsenal, who have not registered a single 90-minute defeat during their summer preparations (W3 D2), with forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette netting four goals each during that stretch. I expect them back in the title.
"They return on Monday, train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and today, so you can imagine that they are not really fit and ready", he said, although he was happy that Chilean Alexis Sanchez was raring to go after a full pre-season.
The reigning Premier League champions have lost their opening game in each of the last two campaigns - this has never happened in three consecutive seasons in English top-flight history.
"He's unbelievably passionate and the training sessions are extremely up tempo and full of instructions and hands on. It's been great getting to know him".
"There's no doubt he loves playing for Arsenal and would like to stay on the right terms".
