Man Utd transfer news Toby Alderweireld is a target for Jose Mourinho
Tottenham "achieved their objective" and did a "great job" by keeping their best player in the transfer window, says manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Both Dembele and Alderweireld will now run their contracts into the final 12 months as a result and will be free to talk to foreign clubs from January while Rose is tied to Tottenham until 2021 after signing a long-term deal two years ago.
After a takeover in the summer, Steve Bruce is now in a position where he can bring players into Villa Park, as he looks to build his squad to the level which can challenge for promotion back to the Premier League.
"We have a very good squad, with very good players and it is very hard to add players to that", Pochettino added.
"Our targets are always in the same level of Real Madrid or Manchester United or Manchester City, but for different circumstances we can not achieve that".
"What the club is doing is showing it is so fearless", he offered.
Pochettino said: "I don't have news now and to do so before the deadline would be so hard". "Building a new training ground, finishing this summer the (player's) lodge was a massive investment".
"Building a stadium that is almost £1 billion".
"That is true, don't believe in £400m, that (£1bn) is the truth!"
'It is hard to understand for people in football that Tottenham didn't sign or didn't sell players but sometimes in football, you need to behave different'. And then with Brexit it is worse because the cost is 30 per cent more. That is a drama, I feel sorry for the English people.
Chairman Daniel Levy has proved his point by refusing to sell to Belgian to another Premier League side, but Spurs still have the option to sell him overseas.
West Ham sign Lucas Perez from Arsenal
"I'm very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League", Perez told the club's official website. He can also cover other positions but it is as a defensive midfielder that he really excels.
