Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard on Sunday opened up about his future regarding a potential move away to Real Madrid saying that to play for Los Blancos has been his life-long dream.
Hazard is out of contract in 2020, but doesn't want to follow the example of worldwide team-mate Thibaut Courtois in forcing his way out of the club.
He admitted on Monday that it was still his dream to join Real Madrid, a club that have held interest in him for a number of years. "I want to keep doing it and keep everyone happy".
"In my head, sometimes I wake up in the morning and think I want to go". It is a hard decision.
A brief return to action followed his move to Stamford Bridge, only for Barkley not to play under Antonio Conte between 31 January and 13 May.
The Belgian was crowned the second best player at the World Cup and, after leading his country to third place in Russian Federation, stated he felt the time was right for a fresh challenge with Madrid his preferred destination.
"We've said that it's not that he wants to leave Chelsea but if Madrid come in for him, that won't be an obstacle".
The English club, now sitting joint top with Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League (with much of that due to the sparkling form of Hazard), had reportedly put a 200-million-euro price-tag on the player's head.
But Giroud needs to end his goal duck quickly if he wants to continue starting and upcoming opponents Southampton may be coming for him at the ideal time.
Hazard says he is torn between signing a new deal with the London giants and a transfer to Real Madrid. It's too early to talk about when to change if I'm going to change. "I could talk now (about the new contract)".
"A lot of people at the start of the season probably didn't fancy Chelsea as contenders, but the start they've had put them in the picture". So, I think he is a fantastic player.
"It really was a breakthrough moment not just in the game but also for Barkley", Nevin told Chelsea FC's website.
"France won the World Cup because of N'Golo, two years ago we won the league because of N'Golo and Leicester [City] won the league because of N'Golo", he said. We had some great results in the past, so I can't say that the managers before weren't good.
