Huawei will launch the Huawei Mate 20X on October 16 alongside the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.

According to leaked prices, the regular Mate 20 is available for $800 (799 francs) and the final price is expected to be more in the range of $850 and $900, for the 64 GB variant.

Most of the other major specifications of the phones are also known, thanks to the leak of several of Huawei's promotional materials late last month. The two are all set to launch at an event in London, the United Kingdom scheduled for October 16. The Mate 20X teaser gif hints at the phone being "cooler" and support "longer gaming" experience. Additionally, this handset should also provide support for Huawei's GPU Turbo technology, along with featuring up to 8GB of RAM and ample amounts of internal memory.

The Huawei Mate 20X could go official on October 16, where the company will also take the wraps off the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro. To put things into context, the duo Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro released previous year had a headphone jack and not respectively.

The smartphone will probably be powered by the flagship Kirin 980 processor, the same will be used in the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. As a reminder, the Huawei Mate 20, which will be presented at the same time as a watch is connected, will be equipped with a processor Kirin 980. The upcoming Huawei Mate 20X will also sport a tri-camera set up on the rear with a physical fingerprint scanner.

The renders of the Mate 20, leaked by German blog WinFuture, show that the phone looks similar to the Mate 20 Pro, but there are some noticeable differences between the two.

Huawei's purported Mate 20X is expected to be absolutely huge with a 7.21-inch OLED display and a native resolution of 2240x1080.

Besides the phone, you could see a protective case which we don't think that was made by a third-party maker, instead, it could just be an official accessory from Huawei.
