Saudi Arabia to let Turkey search its Istanbul consulate

"Jamal has many friends in the Kingdom, including myself, and despite our differences, and his choice to go into his so called 'self-exile, ' we still maintained regular contact when he was in Washington", Khalid bin Salman added. "It's a bad thing", Trump said. He also said that the GOP is going to fare "very well" in the midterm elections.
United States intelligence officials reportedly intercepted communications that the Saudis discussed a plan to lure and capture Khashoggi before his disappearance. "We can't let this happen". Even "if we don't do okay", he said, "I think we'll be in great shape".
Mr Trump said that he wanted to invite Khashoggi's fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, to the White House, in a step that is likely to be taken as a personal rebuke to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's effective ruler, who was previously regarded as an ally of the Trump administration.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo then had a follow-up call with the crown prince to reiterate the US request for information.
They then dismembered Khashoggi's body with a "bone saw" that was brought over from Saudi Arabia for that objective.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders added that the United States would continue to inquire about the fate of the journalist.
"In both calls they asked for more details and for the Saudi government to be transparent in the investigation process", the White House said.
"At this time, I implore President Trump and first lady Melania Trump to help shed light on Jamal's disappearance".
On his first worldwide trip as president, Trump visited Saudi Arabia and announced $110 billion in proposed arms sales.
They say Khashoggi left the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, where he was attempting to finalize his divorce, shortly after he arrived.
Turkish security sources on Wednesday identified eight out 15 suspects linked to Khashoggi's disappearance.
The Saudis were discussing a plan to lure Khashoggi, a WashingtonPost columnist, back to the kingdom, the newspaper claims, citing a person familiar with the communications, which were intercepted before he vanished.
The dissident Saudi journalist's Turkish colleagues and several Turkish officials have voiced concerns that he was murdered in the consulate. It was unclear from this whether Saudi Arabia wanted to then kill him or arrest him, or if US officials made Khashoggi aware of this, the source said.
Khashoggi left Saudi Arabia a year ago saying he feared retribution for his criticism of Riyadh over the Yemen war and its crackdown on dissent, and since then wrote columns for the Washington Post. Among them was a forensics expert, it says.
"And so to me it feels very much like some nefarious activity has occurred by them", Corker added, according to The Beast. "Instead, reports about Jamal's fate have suggested he was a victim of state-sponsored, cold-blooded murder", CEO and publisher Fred Ryan said in a statement late Tuesday.
Turkish police were looking into two private aircraft which landed at Istanbul's Ataturk airport on October 2 at different times carrying 15 people of interest in the case, as well as the possibility that Khashoggi was kidnapped and taken aboard one of the planes, local media reported.

Walking Dead season 9 premiere loses almost half its audience
This season's premiere is also flirting with a tie for the series low in the key demo, which was a 2.4 set back during Season 1. AMC doesn't release numbers for the streaming service, though, so we don't know for sure how many people watched it there.
