The first incident occurred at her Studio City home in the last week of September; friends said she was "despondent and emotional" over her alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant.
After being released days later, Selena had to be re-admitted last week because her low blood cell count persisted, and it threw Selena into a complete meltdown.
However late last week she had to be re-admitted for the same problem, but this time she reacted much worse.
She is now believed to be receiving psychiatric care somewhere on the east coast.
It's not the first timeGomez has sought professional treatment to address anxiety, panic attacks, and depression triggered by her lupus.
