The Air India flight, bound to Dubai took off from Trichyairport at a runway speed of 250-290 km per hour. The pilot in command D Ganesh Babu has a flying experience of 3.600 hours on the B 737 aircraft, including 500 hours as a commander.
The plane took off from the Trichy airport around 1:20 am for Dubai, but was diverted to Mumbai where it landed at 5:20 am, airline officials told PTI.
