Nokia 7.1 Plus stops by Geekbench ahead of its announcement tomorrow - GSMArena.com news
The company already has a good portfolio of smartphones under Rs 15,000 bracket, and today, one more phone gets added to the list - the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The front camera does an average job as well and the bokeh effect is not consistent. The launch date for the Nokia 3.1 Plus has not been specified but the Nokia 8110 4G will go on sale from October 24 at a price of Rs 5,999.
The Nokia 8110 3G is powered by a 2000mAh battery and connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and a micro USB port. What's good about the smartphone here is that Nokia has struck a sweet balance without loosing out on the build quality, while also maintaining a classy and modern look - and that's typical Nokia. Under the hood is the MediaTekHelio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. This is the same chipset that powers the Xiaomi Redmi 6 smartphone. The Nokia 3.1 Plus also gets big upgrade in the camera department where it now comes with dual modules at the back. It comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage respectively.
The display is a 6-inch HD+ panel with a conventional 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus doesn't have any fancy looking design; however, it does look very classy with a no-nonsense design. Nokia 3.1 Plus sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of memory, the device features 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card. I have been using the phone since a day now, and after the setup downloading apps, paying casual games for a while, the battery has barely dropped by 25 percent. The Android One branded Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and the company is promising timely updates and Android Pie update in the next few months. The phone comes in different colour options including Blue, White and Baltic. As mentioned above, the phone also ships with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 400GB.
Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global, said: "We constantly strive to deliver on our promise of offering pure, secure, up-to-date Android on Nokia smartphones". Unlike other phones that attract smudges, and are prone to slipping out of the hand, the Nokia 3.1 Plus offers a ideal grip, something I liked.
The Nokia 8110 4G gets a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is none on the front.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus still remains an unconfirmed smartphone from HMD Global.
