Selena Gomez Has 'Emotional Breakdown' and Now Receiving Mental Health Treatment

SELENA Gomez hospitalized after ‘emotional breakdown’ erupted by Justin Bieber‘s recent marriage to Hailey Baldwin

TMZ first reported the news that Gomez was hospitalized twice in the past few weeks and is now at an East Coast psychiatric facility receiving dialectical behavior therapy.

The 26-year-old singer has been hospitalized twice in the last two weeks.

During her second hospital visit, Gomez reportedly suffered an emotional meltdown.

She is now being treated at a psychiatric facility on the east coast, according to TMZ.

Only a few months after that, in the summer of 2017, Gomez revealed she received a kidney transplant from her best friend Francia Raisa due to complications from lupus. TMZ stated she "freaked out" when she was told she couldn't leave and attempted to remove the IVs from her arm.

The news comes after Gomez opened up about taking a step back from social media and as she works on the follow-up album to 2015's Revival. "Ultimately, with all of her arising health issues, Selena started to feel super overwhelmed".

According to a new report out on, the singer's family is anxious about what will happen to the singer if she's not able to stay sober from here on out.

However, an insider has now said the star isn't one to "let things go unchecked", and that she's inclined to get help as soon as she thinks it's necessary. She was initially checked into the hospital last week but had to be readmitted just days later because of the health issue, which sparked a panic attack, People reported.

Earlier in the day, Baldwin shared a sweet kissing photo to Instagram Stories with her guy.

"Update: taking a social media break".

In an interview with ET Online, a source said that Justin Bieber was "very upset" when he heard the news about Selena, whom he dated on and off for years.

More, it's the third time Gomez has sought treatment in recent weeks.
