Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII Zombies 'Blood of the Dead' second trailer

However, given that Fortnite is free-to-play and more kid-friendly, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is unlikely to knock Fortnite off its perch, but it should eat into its player base. If you're picking up Black Ops 4 on a physical disc, you can not pre-load, of course. For others it is better to wait.

Split Screen isn't available on PC yet, but to have it included on day one for console has already impressed a lot of people.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now, and you're probably wondering where our review is, right? We also know that the PC version is created to better meet the needs of PC gamers and will be exclusively available on Blizzard Battle.net.

And one added: "Black Ops 4 isn't here to take part".

So yes, there'll be no review for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 until next week at the earliest - although we do hope to bring you some early impressions as soon as possible.

It seems like, for the first time in years, Call of Duty has the type of buzz it really hasn't had since Call of Duty: Black Ops II. As we've yet to learn the identities of the three remaining Black Ops Pass exclusive characters, there's no telling what other surprises Treyarch has in store. There was no tip-toeing around the big questions.

I don't know why this hasn't been done before, but Uber Eats and Activision are partnering up with what is easily one of the best video game deals you'll find this year (and I remember getting some nice trousers with a Battlefield 3 pre-order). However, it's worth nothing that many reviews are still coming in, so that could change over time.

It does mean that there's probably a little more for lone players to do than anticipated nothing - and it's nice that it seems to fill in a few gaps in the Black Ops lore.
