Sgt. 1st Class Debra Richardson, a Resolute Support spokeswoman, said in a statement that another USA service member was wounded in the attack.

In his last entry two weeks before his death, Taylor uploaded photos of a ruck march with both US troops and Afghan security forces members.

This latest attack is now under investigation, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation said, adding that additional information would be released as appropriate. He is survived by his wife, Jennie, and their seven children. Late Saturday it had reached more than $19,000 toward a $250,000 goal.
