A storm rolled through the area bringing down the 50-foot wall and forcing those in the building to evacuate, according to NBC News.

Two people are dead following a wall collapse at a Maryland Amazon distribution warehouse, which was caused by an intense storm.

A company official says a second person is dead after part of an Amazon distribution warehouse collapsed amid severe weather in Baltimore.

One of the two men was found under debris and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In Baltimore City, the fire department said damage to the Amazon warehouse involved a section of an outer wall measuring about 50 feet by 50 feet that collapsed. Three minor injuries were reported. Rachael Lighty, a spokesperson for Amazon, told ABC News in a statement that the two victims were third-party contractors and not Amazon employees. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by yesterday's tragic event".

Footage taken by WJZ at the Amazon Fulfillment Center revealed overturned, large delivery trucks, as well as knocked down light polls, fallen corrugated metal sheets and other damage.

The Weather Service's report came after it sent damage-assessment teams to the Baltimore/Dundalk area and to Mount Airy to see whether tornadoes had touched down there.

The tornado briefly lifted before touching down again at an apartment complex in Dundalk.
